Cedarwood Essential Oil

(Cedrus atlantica)

grounding, clarifying

Cedarwood is only used externally in aromatherapy, either topically or through diffusion to stimulate the circulatory system. It is a spa favorite when combined with other essential oils in Swedish and deep tissue massage formulas used in exclusive anti-cellulite treatments. The oil can also be added to sachets placed in areas where clothing is stored to drive away insects that like to eat cotton and wool, or to revitalize older cedar chests that have dissipated their scent over time.
