Copaiba Balsam oil is known for its faint, mild-woody, slightly spicy-peppery notes and offers a completely unique aroma. It is only used externally in aromatherapy, either through diffusion for respiratory disorders such as asthma, chronic coughs and bronchitis... or it can also be used topically in dilution for rheumatic pain and skin problems including rashes hemorrhoids, and eczema. It is used heavily in the perfume industry because of its unique aroma.

Characteristics:
The oil is a pale amber or brown viscous liquid with a faint, mild-woody, slightly spicy-peppery scent. It blends well with Cedarwood, citrus oils, clary sage, jasmine, rose, vanilla, ylang ylang.

Principal Constituents:   These are naturally occuring in the essential oil.
